The organisation is comprised of Visit Nottinghamshire, Nottingham Partners, Invest in Nottingham, Meet in Nottingham and Nottingham Tourism Centre and provides a unified voice for the region.

Director of Visit and Meet
Salary: £70,000 per annum
Location: Nottingham (hybrid working)

This is a rare opportunity to lead the visitor economy and business events strategy for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire at one of the most exciting moments in the region’s history.
Marketing Nottingham & Nottinghamshire is the official Place Marketing Organisation for the region, responsible for promoting Nottingham and Nottinghamshire as a destination to visit, meet, invest and do business. As the accredited Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP), Convention Bureau and Investment Promotion Agency, we work with businesses, local authorities, the East Midlands Combined County Authority and national partners to drive economic growth and raise the region’s profile nationally and internationally.
We are looking for an exceptional leader to become our Director of Visit and Meet.
About the role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will provide strategic leadership for Visit Nottinghamshire and Meet in Nottingham, helping unlock the full economic potential of the visitor economy and business events sector.
You will lead the delivery of the Destination Management Plan, oversee the growth of the Local Visitor Economy Partnership, strengthen the region’s conference and major events offer, and develop the partnerships needed to achieve long-term sustainable growth.
Working across Nottingham, Nottinghamshire and the wider East Midlands, you will collaborate with local authorities, EMCCA, VisitEngland, VisitBritain, universities, businesses and industry leaders to deliver lasting economic impact.
