Here in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, we welcome all production levels to our wonderful city and county. Our region is home to cities and towns with period and contemporary features, as well as picturesque green spaces, forests, stately homes and more. Marketing Nottingham is able to help with filming requests set in different eras, countries and even planets.
While we do not have a dedicated film office service, we work closely with both Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County Councils, as well as organisations and businesses from across the region to help you find what you need.
We offer a range of opportunities for filming locations and have been the setting and inspiration for many films and TV programmes, including The Dark Knight Rises, This Is England, and BBC Drama Truckers. Of course, our legendary son Robin Hood has inspired many a film, most recently the 2018 adaptation starring Taron Egerton and Jamie Foxx.
