Claire has had a 33‑year career at NTU spanning a range of professional services roles, with the majority focused on procurement. In her current role as Sustainable Procurement Manager, she manages NTU’s Net Zero Supply Chain (Scope 3) workstream—widely recognised as the largest source and most challenging area of carbon reduction. She has played a key role in developing and launching a free supplier tool, now used by 44 universities, one council, and over 1,200 higher education suppliers, enabling improved emissions data collection while actively supporting suppliers in progressing their net zero ambitions.
