Highfields Park – Free Kick off your half-term with a visit to Highfields Park, a beautiful green space just a stone’s throw from Lakeside Arts. Families can enjoy a leisurely stroll around the boating lake which has a flat, easy path with stunning views. There is plenty to explore, with bridges, waterfalls and a few hidden surprises. Then why not visit the adventure playground to let off some steam, it’s suitable for children of all ages and even has some dinosaur bones hidden in the sand…

Luminarium Myriad – £6.50 per person

Step into a world of colour and light with the Architects of Air’s latest Luminarium, Myriad, an inflatable art installation that invites visitors to explore its vibrant, maze-like structure. Material Worlds Exhibition – Free

Material Worlds is an ambitious exhibition exploring how contemporary artists are using textiles in surprising and radical ways. The familiar, material stuff of everyday life is transformed into the unexpected – the ordinary made extraordinary – to explore ideas of the body, identity, gender, race, heritage, myth and folklore.
