Nōshi Restaurants, a new Nottingham-based family run restaurant, has announced that it will be launching its first exciting venue in Trinity Square, Nottingham, set to offer an elevated dining experience with a vibrant, Pan-Asian/fusion-inspired restaurant and bar offering.
Following a £4million investment, Nōshi Restaurants will transform the venue located between the Victoria Shopping Centre and the Corner House Leisure Complex into a visual marvel, bringing modern Japanese and Chinese-inspired flavours to life in a stunning setting. Development is underway on the spacious 4,650 sq. ft venue, which promises to become the city’s most distinctive dining experience.
Designed by an award-winning design firm, guests will be delighted by stunning interiors formed with many naturally sourced materials. Featuring exotic hardwoods in deep ebony and warm caramel tones, alongside finely finished eucalyptus and stained walnut accents, the space will exude modern luxury. A signature cherry blossom installation will flow through the heart of the restaurant, stretching overhead, suspended in a drifting formation. Light moves through the blossoms like moonlight through clouds, casting shifting reflections that bring the entire restaurant to life. It will be an iconic centrepiece that is set to create a luxurious yet inviting environment.
The 120-seater restaurant will feature live DJ performances and carefully curated playlists to enhance the exquisite food and cocktail offering in its eye-catching décor. Expect golden features and muted hues of bronze punctuated with floral and fauna to create a vibrant atmosphere. Guests are encouraged to order a number of small and large plates to share or enjoy them traditionally as starters and mains.
The name Nōshi combines Nō, symbolising skill and artistry, with Shi, the Japanese word for four. Here the number four represents balance and harmony, drawing on the four elements of beauty: Sabi (simplicity), Wabi (imperfection), Shibui (refinement), and Yugen (grace). These elements inspire and inform their core pillars: food, drink, service, and surroundings.
Sue Crimes, Head of Brand who joined from Living Ventures, formally the Managing Director of the national Gusto and Alchemist restaurant groups, who is leading on the new venture, said: “Nōshi will offer something completely new to those who live and work in Nottingham. Combining exceptional food and drinks with a memorable and immersive experience. The essence of opulence shapes our entire guest experience. With each visit, our goal is to delight, inspire, and establish Nōshi as Nottingham’s must-visit destination.”
Undoubtedly the food will be the star of the show. The innovative menu has been designed by an Executive Development Chef, who has trained worldwide across London, New York and Shanghai. His pedigree will certainly bring something fresh, new and exciting to the culinary crowd of Nottingham.
The team is renowned for creating visual statements with their dishes, using unusual ingredients and ornaments to create drama and impact. His ethos of creating light, healthy dishes crafted from the finest quality ingredients was a perfect fit for Nōshi.
Nōshi’s menu will use the finest ingredients to create a sophisticated blend of bold and refreshing tastes. From artfully crafted small plates including the Sweet Sticky Chicken to indulgent main dishes like the Wagyu Beef served sizzling on a Pink Himalayan Salt Block, each creation reflects the restaurant’s dedication to innovation and culinary artistry.
Cocktail lovers will be delighted with the bespoke blends crafted by experienced mixologists, using the freshest seasonal ingredients, designed to complement the luxury of the surroundings and the vibrant menu. The menu will feature cocktails such as the signature Cherry and Chocolate Daiquiri, Cinnamon Old Fashioned, Blackcurrant Martini and a Blue Mimosa.
General Manager, Monika Krzemińska said “We can’t wait to unveil Nōshi to the public. It will definitely be an experience that will surprise and delight.”
