Public and Private Sector Combine to Represent Nottingham at Global Property Showcase

MORE than a dozen organisations from the public and private sectors will represent Nottingham and Nottinghamshire as the Team Nottingham delegation heads to MIPIM in Cannes, France.

The event – described as the world’s largest property festival – attracts thousands of investors and developers from across the globe, with Team Nottingham flying the flag for the city and county’s largest developments and regeneration projects.

Forming part of the East Midlands delegation led by the Mayor of the East Midlands and East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA), Marketing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire/ Invest in Nottingham will be promoting the region to potential investors and partners throughout the three-day event.

This year at MIPIM, Team Nottingham will be showcasing a region in transformation. With the East Midlands Combined County Authority driving renewed confidence and momentum, there is currently £4bn of development value within half a square mile of Nottingham city centre alone. Landmark opportunities such as the 60-acre Broad Marsh presents a once-in-a-generation city centre regeneration prospect, while wider county opportunities including the East Midlands Freeport, Ambition Arnold and the East Midlands SuperCluster, home to the STEP Fusion plant, demonstrate the scale, diversity and long-term investment potential across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
