Acting on behalf of private clients, Tim Gilbertson of FHP Property Consultants is delighted to confirm the sale of a substantial warehouse of just under 20,000ft² on a large securely fenced and gated site to a local pension fund.
Richard Sutton of NG Chartered Surveyors acted on behalf of the purchaser.
The deal saw a quick sale of the premises agreed after strong initial interest with the sale progressing smoothly through to a speedy exchange and subsequent completion.
Tim Gilbertson commented:
“Freeholds throughout the region of any size still remain hugely sought-after, there is a real lack of supply and decent demand as we see the market pick up in general after a poor end to the year created by the confusion the budget and more pertinently the run up to it created.
We are already seeing an increase in enquiries across the board for both freehold and leasehold opportunities in early 2026 and hopefully this will continue throughout the year with more deals in the pipeline.
Any freehold throughout the East Midlands continues to be sought-after and this situation is unlikely to change as there is still a real lack of supply.
