Steve is a Director at Arup, a global firm of designers, engineers and sustainability experts dedicated to shaping a better world. With over 25 years at Arup, he has worked on local, national and international projects. A chartered Civil Engineer, Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers and one of only 73 Conservation Accredited Engineers in the UK, Steve is Arup’s global Building Retrofit Leader.
He has delivered major retrofit projects including St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, Newton and Arkwright Buildings in Nottingham, the Castle Meadow Campus, and Coal Drops Yard London, spoken at global events including COP26, and authored key industry papers and books on retrofit and circular economy.
