Mark your calendars: On Tuesday 27 May you can visit the 2025 World Tug of War Championships web site to get your hands on the hottest tickets of 2025!

Tickets for the 2025 TWIF World Tug of War Championships (taking place on 4-7 September), will be available for all four days of competition. Tickets for the event are being issued FREE of charge as the organisers seek to provide access to the sport of tug of war for people who may never have been able to see an international tug of war match before.

“This event is a unique opportunity to watch an international sporting event in the city of Nottingham for free and hopefully get roped into the sport as a supporter or competitor in the years to come,” said Alan Knott, spokesman for the Tug of War Association who are organising the event.

The ticket launch on tugofwar2025.com includes tickets for every day of the competition and fans will be able to choose to watch both the world club championships or the full international competitions where people can go along and support their national teams.
