Together We Are Strong – The Nottingham Event in Support of Ukraine

Live Republic and Binks Yard are proud to present Together We Are Strong in collaboration with City Hub Ukraine and Trident Security. Together We Are Strong is a fundraising event in aid of the people of Ukraine. Taking place on Sunday 11th May 2025 from 13:00 to 20:00, this event promises a full day of live music, entertainment, and cultural experiences, all in support of a crucial cause.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of iconic Nottingham venue Binks Yard, this family-friendly event will feature world-class tribute acts, including sensational performances celebrating the music of George Michael and Ed Sheeran. The day will also showcase a traditional Ukrainian dance show, plus an eclectic mix of DJs and live artists, including Ben Hicklin, Philip George, Fever & Severe B2B, DJ Dan James, and a special Ukrainian DJ.

Beyond the music, guests can immerse themselves in Ukrainian culture with authentic food vendors, a selection of guest Ukrainian beers, and roaming entertainers offering hair braiding, glitter art, and kids’ activities.

City Hub Ukraine is a community volunteer group that was set up in Nottingham in February 2022 to collect and send humanitarian aid to Ukraine, working with Roman Yurichuk from Trident Security amidst Russia’s full scale invasion of Ukraine.

Founding volunteers Ann Vickers, Stuart Vickers and Fil Holland were awarded the Cross of Honour and Glory for their hard work since setting up the hub.

This event stands as a show of solidarity with Ukraine, bringing the community together through music and culture while raising vital funds to support those affected by the ongoing war.
