Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club and The Blaze have made moves to bolster their respective ranks ahead of another busy summer in 2026.
Benny Howell and Emma Jones are the two sides’ domestic signings, with the former arriving from Hampshire County Cricket Club on a T20-only contract, and the latter making the switch from Surrey County Cricket Club.
Fergus O’Neill and Kyle Verreynne will return as Nottinghamshire look to defend their County Championship title, with the South African available for the entire season and the Australian set to feature from April to June.
For the Vitality Blast, the Outlaws have agreed deals with South African spinner George Linde and Australian seamer Peter Siddle, both of whom will be available for the full competition.
Scotland opener George Munsey also joins for the Blast, while Pakistani seamer Mohammad Ali will feature in the One Day Cup and County Championship during August and September, completing Nottinghamshire’s incoming cohort.
Meanwhile, Jones is joined at The Blaze by two all-rounders who will fill the side’s overseas spots. Returning Irish international Orla Prendergast will play two separate stints in the Metro Bank One Day Cup, first across April and May before returning in September around her international commitments.
Australian Charli Knott completes the overseas line-up, set to feature throughout the Vitality Blast campaign from May to July, in addition to three One Day Cup fixtures in June.
