Tristan Hessing is the Founder of Future Makers, a Nottingham based design and manufacturing studio specialising in circular solutions for plastic reuse. 

With a background in Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University, Tristan and the team help businesses and developers convert plastic waste streams into design-led assets, from furniture and planters to installations for public spaces, events and commercial environments. 

Working across the built environment, regeneration, events, education sectors and the arts, Future Makers award recognised projects demonstrate practical, scalable circular design, showing how the abundant material of plastic can be kept in circulation and turned into high value solutions for places and communities.
