Unlocking Business Innovation Through Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

The University of Nottingham is hosting a special event to mark 50 years of Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) – a national programme that has transformed businesses, advanced academic research, and launched exceptional careers.

The university invites you to join in celebrating this remarkable milestone and reflecting on the lasting value that KTP has brought to the region, to partners, and to the wider innovation ecosystem. The event will also look ahead to the next chapter of collaborative opportunities.

The event will take place on Tuesday 2nd September 2025 between the hours of 8:30am to 11am, in the GSK Carbon Neutral Laboratory for Sustainable Chemistry which is located on the University of Nottingham’s Jubilee Campus.

Through inspiring success stories, a panel discussion, and networking sessions, the event will showcase how KTP has:

  1. Supported UK businesses to achieve real commercial impact by expanding their capabilities, boosting productivity, and enhancing their competitive edge.
  2. Increased research impact by translating academic work into real‑world solutions that address industry challenges and societal needs.
  3. Shaped careers by enabling KTP Associates to accelerate their professional growth and make significant contributions within industry.
