‘VUE’ Nottingham Opens It’s Doors To The Public

Film fans in Nottingham have had their first welcome to the ultimate big screen experience, as Vue opened its doors in the city on Friday.

After the previous occupant left the site earlier this year, Vue has brought the big screen back to The Cornerhouse with a reimagined venue.

Each of the 14 screens is now fitted out with Vue’s VIP seating, with Laser by Barco projection technology and Dolby audio, while customers can enjoy a wide variety of food and drink items such as self-serve Tango Ice Blast, Pepsi Mix It, coffee and F’Real milkshakes.

Vue Nottingham has opened in time for customers to enjoy blockbusters such as F1, 28 Years Later, and How To Train Your Dragon, Jurassic World: Rebirth and event cinema including Peppa Meets The Baby and Miley Cyrus: Something Beautiful.

Families will also be well catered for, with Vue’s Mighty Mornings providing family favourites from just £2.49 every Saturday and Sunday morning, and every morning during the school holidays.

The very youngest cinemagoers can also enjoy Vue’s Big Shorts collection, where favourite kids’ characters are brought to the big screen in a more relaxed setting, with a maximum duration of 60 minutes, so even pre-schoolers can enjoy the wonder of the big screen experience.

With even more of Vue Nottingham yet to be unveiled in the coming weeks, Vue bosses teased what is to come in the site’s biggest screen.

Paul Taylor, General Manager at Vue Nottingham, said: “We’re delighted to welcome our first customers to the reimagined venue here at the Cornerhouse, with the best in seat, screen and sound.

“The whole team here is looking forward to welcoming Nottingham film fans, and although we are now open, we will continue to improve and innovate and look forward to bringing something truly epic to our biggest screen later this summer.”

Tickets for Vue Nottingham are available from just £6.99 when booked online. More information can be found at myvue.com
