JOB TITLE: Marketing, Communications and PR Manager

Responsible for developing and delivering the organisation’s overarching marketing, communications and PR strategy across all brands, including Visit Nottinghamshire, Invest in Nottingham, Meet in Nottingham, Nottingham Partners, Nottingham Tourism Centre and corporate Marketing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire communications. Oversees integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns, digital marketing, media relations, brand development, stakeholder communications, content creation, crisis communications, corporate publications, photography, design, social media and website strategy.

Leads the organisation’s public relations activity, developing proactive media strategies, building relationships with local, regional, national and international media, securing positive coverage and managing reputation across multiple sectors including tourism, inward investment, business events, sustainability and economic development. Acts as the organisation’s communications lead, providing strategic communications advice to senior leadership and supporting high-profile announcements, campaigns and events.

Works collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to support visitor economy growth, inward investment, conference and event attraction, membership engagement and stakeholder communications. Leads the marketing support for major destination campaigns, business events, tourism awards, investment promotion, FUTUREPROOF, The Centre of it All visitor campaign, and other flagship initiatives.

Acts as the guardian of both the Marketing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire corporate brand and the region’s place brands, ensuring consistent messaging, visual identity and positioning across all communications. Oversees the planning, delivery and evaluation of marketing activity using audience insight, market intelligence and performance analytics to maximise engagement and return on investment.

Provides leadership to the Marketing, PR and Communications team, managing staff, freelancers, agencies and student interns while fostering a collaborative, high-performing and creative culture. Builds strong relationships with local authorities, the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA), VisitEngland, VisitBritain, businesses, universities, partners and stakeholders to maximise collaborative opportunities and enhance the region’s national and international profile.


BIO

Kinga holds both BA and MA degrees in Applied Linguistics, specialising in international business communication, marketing and translation in English, Polish and Spanish. During her Master’s degree, she was awarded an Erasmus scholarship to study at Nottingham Trent University.

She is a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualified marketing professional with more than 15 years’ experience in strategic marketing, public relations digital marketing, and communications, Kinga has built her career across destination marketing, tourism, higher education, e-commerce and business events. Prior to joining Marketing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, she worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist at Tischner European University, supporting international student recruitment, and as Marketing Manager at Stationery Island, where she established a digital marketing team and led the development of the company’s first e-commerce website.
