Retford-based design and marketing agency Bubble Design has been named Employer of the Year 2025 at the prestigious North Notts Business Awards, further cementing its reputation as one of the region’s best places to work.
The award recognises the agency’s commitment to building an outstanding workplace culture, investing in staff development and supporting employee wellbeing.
Bubble Design celebrated a double success on the night, with Managing Director Chris Peacock receiving the Businessperson of the Year Award, commemorating 25 years of creative leadership and sustained growth for the agency.
Employer of the Year celebrates organisations that put their people at the centre of success. Bubble wowed the independent judging panel with initiatives such as:
- A strong development culture, which supports the next generation of creatives through the Future Talent Programme and apprenticeship system.

- Proactive wellbeing support, including mental health initiatives such as expert-led sessions and peer-led support for tackling burnout, something the fast-paced marketing industry is known for.
- High levels of loyalty, with more than half of the workforce having been with the company for six years or more, and numerous employees commemorating two decades of service.
Bubble Design began its journey in 2000, growing from a small two-person operation into a thriving team of nearly 30 creative specialists. The agency provides a full range of services including web design, branding, digital marketing, packaging, SEO and social media, supporting over 600 B2B and B2C clients across the UK.
