Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are now available for the 2026 Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards, set to celebrate excellence across the visitor economy in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and the Peak District. Following the success of last year’s joint ceremony, Visit Nottinghamshire is delighted to confirm it will once again partner with Visit Peak District, Derbyshire and Derby to deliver a shared awards evening in 2026. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday 18 March 2026 at Derby County Football Club, Pride Park.
The prestigious event will bring together tourism businesses, partners and industry leaders for an evening of celebration, networking and recognition. The programme will include a drinks reception, a three-course dinner and the announcement of Gold, Silver and Bronze winners. Gold award winners will get an opportunity to represent the region at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2026.
Both sponsorship opportunities and tickets to the awards are now available, offering businesses the chance to showcase their brand and connect with key decision-makers from across the visitor economy.
CEO of Marketing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire including Visit Nottinghamshire, Megan Powell Vreeswijk, said: “We’re delighted to once again be partnering with Visit Peak District and Derbyshire to deliver the 2026 Tourism Awards. These awards are an incredible way to celebrate the outstanding businesses and people who make our region such a compelling place to visit. Hosting the ceremony jointly provides businesses a bigger platform to showcase their offer, celebrate and network. We are also delighted for North Notts BID and East Midlands Airport to join us as sponsors of this year’s awards.”
Midlands Airport’s Head of Corporate Affairs, Ioan Reed-Aspley, said: “As the region’s major gateway for millions of holidaymakers every year, we are delighted to sponsor the Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards and in particular to recognise new businesses in the sector. The awards are a fantastic opportunity to showcase everything that’s great about this region as a destination and help to put it right at the heart of the UK’s tourism map. We are keen to play our part in enabling more people to choose to visit the area we serve, which in turn gives a great boost to many local businesses.”
Sally Gillborn MBE, chief executive at North Notts BID, said: “The Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the tremendous work of destination businesses across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
“In North Notts, the visitor economy plays a major role in drawing people into the district, with a trickle-down effect into boosting footfall on our high streets and shopping locally. We are delighted to be lending our support to the event and look forward to joining the celebrations for what has been another great year of tourism initiatives and accomplishments.”
