Laura Mayhew‑Manchón, Head of Sustainability at Nottingham Trent University, said:
“Nottingham Trent University is proud to be a partner of FUTUREPROOF Nottingham 2026 and sharing applied expertise that helps organisations move from intention to impact. Events like this are vital for turning sustainability ambition into practical action, particularly for organisations navigating real‑world pressures and constraints.
“By working alongside businesses, public‑sector partners and the wider city, we can build the skills, partnerships and confidence needed to accelerate Nottingham’s transition to a more sustainable and resilient future.”
Paul Southby, Chair of Broadway Cinema, said:
“FUTUREPROOF is a new annual forum focused on the future of sustainability.
At its core, the event is about ideas, action and collaboration – and, crucially, about turning those into real-world impact. In today’s landscape, sustainability is not only business-critical, but fundamental to the long-term wellbeing of our communities.
FUTUREPROOF aims to create clarity around complex sustainability challenges, remove barriers to progress, connect ideas with investment, and support those working to deliver meaningful change.
It is a real pleasure for Broadway Cinema to host such an important flagship event, and we look forward to welcoming all FUTUREPROOF delegates through our doors.”
