Chris is the Head of Transport Strategy for Nottingham City Council. He is responsible for the development and delivery of the Nottingham’s local transport programme. He is also responsible for delivery of Nottingham’s Local Air Quality Plan and transport input into our ambitious Carbon Neutral Plan.

Significant projects contributed to include Nottingham Express Transit development phases and planning for Nottingham’s unique workplace parking levy. He is helping to make Nottingham more cycle friendly through the implementation of the new pedestrian and cycle bridge over the River Trent and overseeing the City’s behaviour change and zero emission vehicle programmes. Latterly he has been helping to influence the emerging East Midlands Combined County Authority Mayor’s Transport Plan and development of future transport proposals.
