Save Money on Sundown Adventureland Theme Park Tickets over Mother’s Day Weekend

Sundown Adventureland, the magical family attraction near Retford, is offering half-price tickets for all mums on Mother’s Day weekend – saving almost £13 on their visit.

Running across Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th March, the children’s theme park specifically designed for under 10-year-olds has an exciting mix of rides, attractions and play areas to keep all generations happy. This includes attractions that have entertained families for decades, as well as newer rides and spaces that delight little ones.

Debs Griffin, whose grandparents opened the attraction in 1968 and is now director, said: “Sundown Adventureland was founded by our family matriarch, Audrey Rhodes, and our values around quality family time, imagination and providing great value are still as true today as they were when she opened the park all those years ago.”

“The park has seen generations of families visit together and it is our mission to be every child’s first theme park and a place where special memories are made, which we hope continues this Mother’s Day weekend,” said park director Shaun Malvern.

Sundown’s collection of over 30 activities features animatronic animals and wildlife inspired rides, fairytale themes and Wild West experiences.

Ride through the mountains and the outback on the Rocky Mountain Railroad, spot farmyard favourites on the Tractor Ride or showcase driving skills at the Monkey Mayhem Driving School and receive a special driving license once complete.

Traditional, imaginative and explorative play is encouraged at Sundown Adventureland’s Toy Town, Storybook Village and Market Square, and children can let off steam in the outdoor adventure play areas including Angry Birds Activity Park, Fort Apache and Smuggler’s Cove.

If shelter from spring showers is needed, the Four Seasons Arena has ample seating and hosts meet and greets with iconic bear mascots Honey and Sunny throughout the day, or treat mum to lunch and sweet treats on her special day at the Pumpkin Patch café or Crash Landings Indoor Play and Café.

To view opening times and book tickets in advance, please visit: www.sundownadventureland.co.uk. Tickets are £25.95 for adults or children over 90cm and free for children under 90cm.

Discounts are available for seniors, disabled visitors and carers and please note the half price discount can’t be used in conjunction with any other offer.
