Debs Griffin, director at Sundown Adventureland said:
“Father’s Day at Sundown is all about making memories and spending time with your family. Whether you’re visiting for a day or enjoying a special weekend by staying at Wild Acre, we’re excited to welcome everyone this June.
“Our neighbours and local community were the first visitors to Sundown Adventureland when my grandparents welcomed people in the park’s early days. Today, we’re honoured that our neighbours return to us year after year and the ‘locals weekend discount’ is our way of saying thank you.”
There is so much to explore at Sundown Adventureland, from singing along with the animated farmyard animals to venturing into the tale of Robin Hood.
New for this summer, the upper decks of the famous Galleon in Smuggler’s Cove have been fully rejuvenated and brought back to life. Standing tall at 10 metres, the ship has been a centrepiece of the park since 1992 and is ready to welcome a whole new generation of young adventurers.
The iconic Lollipoppet Castle has also been transformed following a significant refurbishment, including new multisensory experiences which smell as sweet as it looks.
Crash Landings, Rodeo Corral and The Pumpkin Patch Café provide sandwiches, children’s meals, ice creams and tea, coffee and soft drinks to keep explorers well-fed for a busy day and best of all, the children can play in the Crash Landings soft play whilst the adults sit back and relax.
Wild Acre Village, Sundown’s onsite accommodation, is an extra opportunity to treat special dads and father figures, with overnight stays available at the magical park’s themed lodges, which sleep up to 10 people. Dads can relax in the hot tubs, enjoy dinner at the Bistro and have access to the park in opening hours throughout their stay.
To book visit www.sundownadventureland.co.uk. Tickets without the discount are £25.95 for adults or children over 90cm, with children under 90cm entering for free. Due to popularity, it is advised visitors book tickets in advance.
Please note that the discount can’t be used in conjunction with any other offer.
