Supercars and Skydivers set to star at Belvoir Castle’s Father’s Day Event

Families are invited to celebrate Father’s Day (21 June) together at Belvoir Castle with an unforgettable day of supercars, live entertainment, delicious food, arial displays and family-friendly activities.

Returning to Belvoir Castle, located on the borders of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, the event promises a unique experience for visitors of all ages. Whether celebrating Dad, Grandad or a special father figure, visitors can enjoy a relaxed and memorable day filled with entertainment, shared moments and stunning surroundings.

This year’s event features an exciting line-up of attractions with highlights including getting up close to supercars and a procession at 1:30pm, offering guests the chance to witness an incredible parade of luxury and performance vehicles as they drive through the castle grounds.

Weather permitting, the dare devil team from Skydive Langar will perform an incredible skydiving display, landing in front on crowds on the cannonade lawn.

The grounds and gardens of Belvoir Castle will come alive with a vibrant mix of entertainment and local traders, including a variety of food vendors serving delicious dishes and refreshments and artisan gift stalls perfect for finding a unique Father’s Day present. Families can enjoy a range of activities designed for all ages, including classic lawn games, facepainting, competitions and special prizes throughout the day.

With plenty of open space to relax, explore and enjoy the atmosphere, the event offers the perfect opportunity for families to spend quality time together in one of the country’s most picturesque settings. Throughout the day, East Midlands Rock Choir will be performing rock songs to get every dad strumming their own air guitar. There will also be a performance from local musician Jordan Poole.

The event will continue in Belvoir Retail Village which will be buzzing with live music and activity, offering visitors a chance to refuel in the Bistro after browsing the carefully curated boutiques and picking up their own Father’s Day gift. There will be a vintage and craft market, welcoming visitors to browse the stalls and find their own antique treasures and artisan gifts.

The Animal Park, situated at the edge of the Retail Village, offers another fun activity, where families can meet the resident animals and enjoy the picturesque setting.

Tickets for the event, which also include access to the castle gardens and grounds, cost only £14 for adults, £7 for children and £12.50 for concessions.
