Inspire are delighted to share the incredible achievements of our Access to HE students, who have successfully completed their qualification in Health and Social Care.
At our graduation party in Rushcliffe Park on Friday 10 July, our students gathered to celebrate their hard work over the past year. Most are now preparing to begin their university journeys this September, and others are stepping confidently into employment – an amazing testament to their dedication and perseverance.
Completing this intensive course, which is the equivalent of three A-levels in just one academic year is a remarkable achievement. Our learners have demonstrated exceptional hard work, dedication and determination, often while balancing their studies with the many challenges and responsibilities of adult life. They should feel extremely proud of everything they have accomplished; the Access tutors certainly are!
We were thrilled to receive exceptional feedback from AIM Qualifications, who praised the high standard of portfolios produced by our learners, as well as the quality of tutor assessment and internal quality assurance processes. Their final awards board confirmed that every single one of our learners had successfully achieved their qualification, an incredible accomplishment.
One of our graduates, Demi, is hoping to become a paramedic:
“I do feel like a different person to be honest. I feel like I’ve gained a lot from the course, a lot of confidence and I actually believe in myself. To be honest, I never thought I would go to university. And now I’ve opened up all those opportunities for myself, I’m really proud. I’ve been accepted to a university course with a placement, because I want to become a paramedic.”

If you don’t have the GCSEs, don’t worry – we’ll help you to work towards Functional Skills qualifications in maths and English. Our current pass rate is 100%, and we have links with local universities that can help you to take that next step.
We’re currently enrolling for our next intake of students, with learning beginning in person at Inspire Beeston Library and online this September.
