As a result of the continued expansion and relocation of our clients here, to whom we sold a building of nearly 100,000ft² last year, we are delighted to continue working with them as we have completed the sale of their former premises in Nottingham of just over 42,000ft².
Set in a prominent position on the corner of Glaisdale Drive and Wigman Road, the building attracted strong interest and a sale was quickly agreed to our eventual purchaser who was a pleasure to deal with throughout.
The disposal was dealt with by Tim Gilbertson, Director of FHP who commented:
“A good sale to complete, particularly as we had sold our client here their new premises last year and were instructed to subsequently sell their former premises, as I say, a real pleasure to continue working with that client and equally a pleasure to work with our eventual purchaser who ensured that the transaction was smooth throughout.
Whilst there is no doubt the market is not as strong as in previous years for industrial/warehouse premises due to worldwide events, opportunities to purchase in Nottingham and the wider East Midlands market still remain very thin on the ground so once again it was no surprise that we encouraged strong interest in this building, having to turn down other offers before proceeding with our eventual buyer who we wish well for the future with this asset now secured.
Across the board more industrial and distribution space available to sell is always required and I would be delighted to discuss and advise on any potential new instruction throughout the East Midlands.”
