As a proud member of the Nottingham Partners network, we’re excited to share who we are, the work we do in Nottingham, and how we can support fellow members as we look ahead to 2026. Whether you’re planning to grow your board or leadership team or considering joining a board yourself we would love to start a conversation about how we can work together.
At Peridot Partners we’re an executive search firm working across the third sector, education, and membership organisations to transform leadership and inspire change. With an office and team based in Bingham, we have a rich seven-year history of partnering with Nottingham’s charities, education providers, businesses, cultural gems, and more. Over this time, our efforts have made a significant positive impact on the local and regional business landscape, strengthened the charity sector, and contributed meaningfully to the growth of the local visitor economy.
This record has included:
- Chief Executive appointments at It’s in Nottingham, Broadway Cinema, Marketing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and the National Justice Museum
- Trustee and Governor appointments with Nottingham Canal Trust, Nottingham Trent University, It’s in Nottingham, Nottingham College, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and University of Nottingham Students’ Union
As we approach Christmas and take time to enjoy a mince pie while reflecting on the year that’s passed, it’s also the perfect moment to consider how you could become a charity trustee in the New Year. Trusteeship is a wonderful way to support and influence causes and communities you care about both in Nottingham and across the wider region. It allows you to contribute your skills to further a charity’s mission, and it’s one of the most rewarding ways to grow personally and professionally.
Keen to explore becoming a Trustee in more detail?
At Peridot Partners, we make over 600 appointments each year, including more than 400 trustee roles. We also offer a range of advice and guidance on our website to support you in taking the step to become a trustee, including:

- What makes a good trustee?
- Should you become a small charity trustee?
We also provide webinars and training to help organisations understand how their staff can become trustees, and we’d be delighted to offer these to any Nottingham Partners member organisation.

Our outstanding record extends well beyond Nottingham. In 2024–25, we made over 600 placements, working with 311 clients.
