With 100 days to go until Christmas, Clumber Park is already preparing for a festive season filled with family adventures, creativity, music, traditions and winter walks.
This Christmas, visitors can discover Peter Rabbit™ sculptures as part of a brand-new art trail, meet Father Christmas in his enchanting grotto, and enjoy a programme of seasonal experiences.
From Saturday 21 November, visitors can discover 12 larger-than-life Peter Rabbit™ sculptures as they explore The Trail of Peter Rabbit™ at Clumber Park, created in collaboration with Penguin Ventures and Wild in Art. Each of the sculptures has been uniquely decorated by artists from across the UK, offering visitors of all ages the opportunity to experience beautiful art outdoors, in nature, at a magical time of year. The trail, free with admission, will run until Sunday 3 January.

And that’s not all. For those looking for a traditional Christmas experience, Father Christmas will be arriving in the Old Parsonage from 28 November. Families will enter a magical Winter Wonderland before meeting Father Christmas in his cosy living room, with time to share their Christmas wishes before choosing a gift from the Elves’ Toy Shop. There will also be special Storytime with Father Christmas sessions for toddlers and babies, with festive stories, nursery rhymes and songs.
There’s plenty to enjoy beyond the big festive favourites. Side Farm Flowers will lead seasonal wreath-making and festive table decoration workshops, using natural materials and foliage from Clumber. In the Chapel of St Mary the Virgin, visitors can capture the spirit of Christmas with a performance of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, while the traditional Nine Lessons and Carols service will bring the Christmas story to life through music.
The festive programme continues outdoors, with guided Family Lantern Walks, a Heritage & Horticulture Amble, a Christmas Eve 10k Trail Run and the annual Tinsel Trek. There will also be plenty for Clumber’s four-legged visitors, with a festive dog walk and a chance to visit Santa Paws at Central Bark, the dog-friendly café.
