FANPARK Supports Nottingham Based Children’s Charity At Saturday’s Matchday & Street Food Event

Footprints is thrilled to announce that this weekend’s FANPARK will be supporting their charity on Saturday 11 May! With the weather predicted to reach a sunny 23 degrees, it’s shaping up to be the ideal weekend!

Inspired by the best fanzones from around the world, FANPARK not only hosts 1000s of fans for every Nottingham Forest match but is also set to be Nottingham’s biggest EURO2024 fanzone set across 3 venues across the city. This weekend’s FANPARK starts from 11am, with 6 of the best street food traders from around the UK, live entertainment hosted by Max Hayes, DJs, and a panel show with former Forest players James Perch and Craig Westcarr.

Hundreds of tickets have been snapped up, you can get one of the remaining 500 free tickets at www.fanpark.co.uk

Located at Brewhouse & Kitchen, Nottingham, on Trent Bridge, this is an accessible venue with fantastic views of Nottingham Forest’s home, the City Ground.

To help raise awareness of the charity, fundraise and share information, some of the Footprints team and families, including their Chair of Trustees Rob Evans, will be there on the day.

Supporting local businesses and communities is integral to FANPARK’s mission in Nottingham, whether it’s food traders, football fan groups, small businesses or charities, and Footprints is delighted FANPARK has chosen to support them on Saturday.

Rob Evans, Footprints Chair of Trustees, said “this is a really exciting opportunity for us to raise awareness of Footprints, the services we provide for children living with disabilities across the East Midlands, and connect with new people and organisations. As a lifelong Nottingham Forest fan, I’m especially looking forward to being part of FANPARK on Saturday, before and after the Nottingham Forest team kick-off against Chelsea at the City Ground.”

Sachin Nijran, founder of FANPARK, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating “Supporting Footprints this Saturday is a privilege for us. It’s not just about hosting events, it’s about making a positive impact in our community.

With our Euros programme fast approaching and this being the final home match, it felt like the perfect moment to support Footprints. We’re genuinely thrilled to have them join us on what promises to be a bustling day, with guests like James Perch on our show, the sunny forecast for Nottingham, and the club hopefully securing its Premiership status!”
