John first discovered the power of song-writing when he made the school bully cry with a song he wrote about a dying dog. Since then, he has amassed an enviable catalogue of songs written for many and varied audiences including children. There are songs to make us laugh, think, to make our heart break or sing. And songs that just, simply, make you want to dance and sing into the early hours.

David Thornton from the Heights said:

“John has been performing on our amphitheatre stage on many occasions this year, and our visitors love him. When we heard the song he’d written about the cable cars we couldn’t resist the temptation to make our own video of the song. We had great fun filming on a very warm day in June, and we’re looking forward to welcoming John back again during the summer holidays”.
