The official Place Marketing Organisation for the region, Marketing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, has published its latest Annual Review, showcasing another successful year of promoting the region as a leading destination to visit, invest, meet and do business.
The review highlights the organisation’s work across destination marketing, inward investment, tourism, business events and business engagement, delivered in close partnership with the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA), Nottingham City Council, Nottinghamshire County Council, its network of businesses, and a wide range of industry partners. Their continued collaboration and support have been instrumental in driving economic growth, strengthening the visitor economy and raising the profile of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire on both the national and international stage.
Among the year’s highlights Invest in Nottingham continued to attract new investment projects that are expected to create 477 jobs for the region, while also supporting the relocation of 100 existing jobs into Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
Visit Nottinghamshire also achieved a record 4.82 million website visits, welcomed more than 100,000 visitors through the Nottingham Tourism Centre and continued to strengthen the region’s international profile through trade missions, destination marketing campaigns and business support.
