Since 2009, we have supported charities, social enterprises, education providers, membership bodies, cultural organisations, sports organisations and purpose-led institutions to find leaders who can strengthen impact, improve outcomes and help organisations navigate change with confidence.

The right appointment can shape strategy, culture, governance, financial resilience and the experience of the people and communities an organisation exists to serve. That is why we approach recruitment as more than a transaction. We build long-term partnerships, take time to understand context, and design processes that help clients make thoughtful, informed and inclusive decisions.
In 2025–26, we made 583 placements for 317 clients, alongside 1,600 hours of volunteering across our team. Those numbers speak to the scale of our work, but the real story is the impact behind each appointment. Every chief executive, senior leader, trustee, chair or specialist appointment has the potential to strengthen an organisation’s ability to deliver its mission.
We are particularly proud of our work with small and medium-sized charities. These organisations are often deeply embedded in their communities and are asked to deliver more with limited resources, stretched infrastructure and increasing demand. We understand that leadership in this context is complex. Boards need leaders who can hold uncertainty, build trust, manage risk, support teams, work with funders and partners, and keep sight of the organisation’s purpose.
In the Midlands and surrounding areas, our work has included chief executive and senior appointments for organisations such as Safe and Sound Group in Derbyshire, alongside Nottingham-based and East Midlands organisations including Marking Nottingham, It’s in Nottingham (Nottingham BID) and Nottingham Trent Students’ Union.
We have a growing Sport practice, supporting organisations that use physical activity, participation, performance and community engagement to improve lives. Sport has a unique ability to build confidence, connection, wellbeing and opportunity. Whether recruiting board members, senior leaders or specialist roles, we help sports organisations find people who understand both the operational demands of the sector and the wider social value sport can create. Our experience includes working with organisations that connect sport with community development, education, inclusion, health and place-based impact. Appointments include the CEO of British Taekwondo, and Trustees for Wembley Stadium Foundation.
Our Arts, Heritage and Culture work is equally grounded in purposeand place. Cultural organisations protect stories, places, collections, creativity and shared memory. They also face real pressures around income generation, audience development, inclusion, digital engagement and public value. We support these organisations to appoint leaders who can balance creativity with commercial awareness, stewardship with innovation, and access with sustainability. Our work with organisations such as the National Justice Museum, and Broadway Cinema, alongside wider place-based and visitor economy appointments including Great Northern Classics and Southwell Minster, gives us a strong understanding of the leadership needs of cultural, heritage and destination-focused organisations in Nottingham and the Midlands.
Across every sector, our approach is underpinned by rigour, care and inclusion. We actively seek out diverse perspectives and encourage clients to think beyond narrow or traditional routes into leadership.
We have also recently secured our B Corp status, an important milestone in our development as a business. It reflects the standards we want to hold ourselves to around governance, people, communityand environmental impact.
