The Limelight Orchestra is licenced to thrill as it presents the musical gala “007 Forever Diamond”, combining celebrations for the Queen’s Jubilee and James Bond’s diamond anniversary. With celebratory street parties in the planning, Jubilee Saturday night’s concert royale, is set to ignite celebrations!
Hosted at The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham on Saturday 4th June this spectacular show is a guaranteed wow, with immense music from Limelight’s 70-piece Orchestra, singers and dancers. The production is so much more than the music of James bond as the stage offers dance, voices, big symphonic sound with fantastic lighting. As Bond anthems connect with all generations, the show’s compere Adam Moss brings his wit and charm to introduce the orchestra and engage the audience.
Limelight is pleased to support the YMCA Robin Hood Group in its 150th birthday year making this a hat trick celebration alongside the Platinum Jubilee and James Bond’s Diamond anniversary. These British institutions align to help the work of the YMCA as it seeks to empower children and vulnerable young people across Nottinghamshire and beyond.
Stage Director of the show Cat Orton says
“James Bond and The Queen are as quintessentially British as tea and scones and rainy summer holidays! Bringing these iconic themes together into a large scale, musical extravaganza that combines our classic orchestra with singers, dancers, special effects and more has been no small undertaking but one that promises to entertain our audiences. I am incredibly honoured to be given the mission of staging this event and I’m equally as excited for Bond fans of all ages to come and see our spin on the music of 007!”
