The National Rabbit Festival is back for 2025, bringing together rabbit lovers from across the UK for a day of celebration, education, and advocacy. Taking place on Saturday, 23rd August 2025 at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, this year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever!
Now in its third year, The National Rabbit Festival is a one-of-a-kind event dedicated to promoting responsible rabbit care while creating a fun and engaging experience for attendees. After receiving fantastic feedback last year, we are thrilled to be returning to the East Midlands Conference Centre, with exciting plans to enhance the space and improve the experience for all visitors.

This summer, attendees can look forward to a packed schedule featuring incredible guest speakers, engaging panel discussions, a top bunny shopping experience, and delicious vegan food. The event will focus on key topics such as rabbit companionship, housing, diet, and overall welfare, helping to spread knowledge and awareness about these often misunderstood animals.
Festival Founder and Manager of Ivy Dene Rabbit Rescue, Beth Hinds, shares her excitement:
“Last year’s festival was an unforgettable experience, filled with passionate people coming together to support rabbit welfare. Despite being one of the most popular, rabbits remain the most misunderstood and neglected domestic animals in the UK. The National Rabbit Festival is here to change that – to educate, advocate, and empower rabbit guardians to give their bunnies the best possible lives.”
Although the event is designed to celebrate rabbits, we kindly ask attendees to leave their bunnies at home, as an event of this scale could be stressful for them.
