50 days to go until Christmas at Wollaton switch on!

With nights drawing in, the hugely popular Christmas at Wollaton is enjoying a huge surge in demand for tickets, 50 days to go until opening night on Friday 26th November.   

Last year  Nottingham’s Wollaton Hall & Deer Park was transformed into Christmas at Wollaton Hall  an enchanting, unique, outdoor festive installation, the first time such an event has been held in Nottingham.    

Having sold out in 2020, tickets for Christmas at Wollaton this year are selling fast. 

With a newly designed trial as well as the best loved favourite features of the last event, organisers have been delighted by the early response to the 2021 event.    

Last years inaugural event was massively successful for award winning organisers Kilimanjaro and was a complete sell-out.  In response to the huge demand this year the event runs for 7 weeks and boasts over 440 booking slots!  These extra timeslots will enable more people to enjoy the trail including a new Twilight Viewing Package, which starts at 4pm and will run every day from Friday 3rd December to Saturday 1st January. 

This year Christmas at Wollaton will open on Friday 26th November 2021 and runs until  9th  January 2022.   

Organisers commented “We’re looking forward to showing visitors something extraordinary again this year and it will even better than before.  We’re delighted that this year we will also be able to extend our food and drink offer for visitors to enjoy as well as having a wonderful festive Christmas market, so for this season there will even more to see and enjoy.”   

Also new for 2021, Christmas at Wollaton is offering VIP packages that include priority entry to the trial, exclusive access to the VIP Terrace Bar with drinks voucher. In addition, all visitors will be able access the Christmas Market with festive treats and tickets. 

For 2021 there will be a completely new look trail, so that as twilight falls Wollaton Hall will transform into an enchanting world of stunning lights with specially created atmospheric music. The formal gardens around Wollaton Hall will become a magical wonderland to captivate visitors of all ages, with awe inspiring illuminations providing a stunning multi-sensory experience.   

The creative design team will start work on the transformation in early November ready for opening night on 26th November

Adult off peak tickets start at £19.80 including booking fee, and are available online. 

Nottingham City Council residents will againenjoy a 10% saving on tickets for Christmas at Wollaton 2021.  

For anyone wishing to travel further afield as well, the team behind Christmas at Wollaton has also launched a new Christmas at Trentham at Trentham near Stoke on Trent. The estate includes the famous Trentham Gardens which will have an illuminated trail is designed to sprinkle a little Christmas magic, accentuate the flora and fauna and see the stunning historic landscape in a new light.
