The Walled Garden Wins Judges’ Choice at the 2025 Sustainable Wedding Awards

The Walled Garden at Beeston is thrilled to announce its win at the prestigious 2025 Sustainable Wedding Awards, held in London. The company was recognised
as the Judges’ Choice, beating stiff competition from across all categories nationwide in the industry.

This award recognises The Walled Garden’s commitment to not only reducing its own carbon footprint on the planet, but to engaging with its couples, suppliers and other industry players in driving change in a very wasteful industry. Winning reflects their dedication and drive to champion change.

Michelle Miles, Founder of the Sustainable Wedding Awards, commented: “We are delighted to recognise The Walled Garden as the Judges’ Choice winner. The team and Emma’s dedication to sustainability is truly inspiring, and their trail blazing win as a small stand-alone venue, serves as an example to others in the industry. We commend theirmcommitment to creating a more mindful and responsible wedding landscape.”

Emma Davidson, General Manager at The Walled Garden, added: “We are incredibly honoured to receive this award. Sustainability is at the core of everything
we do, it’s not just a project to us, but a passion that gives our business purpose. To be 11th March 2025 recognised by the Sustainable Wedding Awards is a true validation of our whole team’s commitment to making a positive impact, especially that of Lauren Quinn who has inspired and educated our team over the last few years. This win will motivate us to continue pushing the boundaries and inspire others to join us in creating a more sustainable wedding industry.”

At The Walled Garden, it’s about delivering exceptional experiences while minimising environmental impact. With an ethical approach to weddings, the venue proudly offers couples sustainable options, allowing them to celebrate their special day with style and conscience. The Walled Garden feels very humbled to be entrusted with nurturing such a beautiful, calm space in a big, busy city. Watching the garden and wildlife thrive from what was a derelict and forgotten garden just 12 years ago made their eco pledge easy.

With lots of exciting projects taking shape in 2025, winning this award has set the year off to an incredible start, The Walled Garden remains committed to leading change in the industry, and will continue to be anything but ordinary.
