Nottingham Playhouse Announces 2026 Panto

As the spellbinding Sleeping Beauty opens tonight, Nottingham Playhouse is delighted to announce that next year’s legendary pantomime will be the magical adventure of Aladdin.

Written and directed by Nottingham Playhouse Artistic Director Adam Penford, Aladdin will run from 27 November 2026 to 16 January 2027 and is on-sale now. Cleo Pettit, designer of the lavish, sparkling sets and costumes, is also returning for Aladdin. Early booking is recommended to get the best choice of seats and best prices.

Join in for a wild ride to a magical far-off land, in the astounding adventure of Aladdin! Can the plucky Aladdin prove himself to the Princess? And will the Wicked Sorcerer get their hands on the legendary lamp? With the help of a hilarious Genie and some panto magic, anything is possible!
