A brand new app, festival map and free programme are now available to help families get festival ready for Gloworm this weekend.
The preparations at the historic Thoresby Park setting are in full swing, ready to welcome 20,000 people over 7-9 August. While glamping is now sold out and camping running extremely low, there is still the chance to be part of the special 10th year with day tickets available.
Saturday and Sunday get off to a gentle start with yoga on site for campers at 9.30am, before the main festival opens up at 10am with the main stage springing into action with a full day of shows, meet and greets and much much more to discover all around the festival.
CBeebies Bedtime Stories starts from 11am, so little ones can hear their favourite characters, and TV stars reading to them throughout the day. It’s also the place to hang out for meet and greets, along with the main stage and the VIP area.
In the programme, organisers thanked all the people who have been part of the Gloworm journey over the last decade.
“When Gloworm began at Clumber Park in 2016, it started as a simple idea:to create a festival designed around families spending quality time together. We wanted to create a place where children and grown-ups could make memories side by side, without unnecessary financial pressures getting in the way of that experience. Over the last ten years, that idea has grown and evolved beyond anything we could have imagined. Thank you for being part of our story.”
Playmobil are returning with the Play Village, a dedicated play space filled with toys for children and families to explore, imagine and play together. Not only that, the Playmobil Rave will bring plenty of high-energy fun, music and dancing to the festival for an unmissable Gloworm moment!
Jamie Dickinson, Head of Marketing at Playmobil UK & Ireland, said:
“We’re so pleased to be back at Gloworm Festival as a key sponsor for its 10th birthday. Having been part of the festival for the past eight years, we’ve seen the magic it creates for families – the laughter, the imagination and those precious moments spent playing together. We’re proud to help make this year’s celebration even more special.
“We know how busy lives get, especially in the summer holidays. Gloworm is a wonderful chance for families to put everyday distractions aside, get stuck into play and spark their imaginations together. We can’t wait to join the celebrations.”
The Gloworm app has everything from line-ups, maps, and even a glow stick! Download it now on the App Store or Google Play Store, and build an itinerary, mark favourites and get festival ready.
Day tickets are £42.50 for children and £52.50 for adults.
