Gloworm Festival Announces 2027 Return With Early Bird Tickets Following Best Year To Date

13-15 August 2027, Thoresby Park

Gloworm Festival announces 2027 dates and return to Thoresby Park after the 10th anniversary is praised as an ‘unforgettable weekend’ and  ‘the best one yet’.

Early Bird tickets for Gloworm Festival 2027 are on general sale 10am, Monday, August 17. With payment plans available and the knowledge that a Gloworm ticket unlocks all the entertainment and even the fairground rides during the day,  families can plan ahead and book with confidence.

20,000 attended the 10th edition praising the festival’s entertainment, site layout, relaxed atmosphere and attention to detail to make sure families could enjoy the festival from start to finish.  The upgraded camping experience was a winner with better facilities and earlier access to the main arena, bigger pitches, campsite shop and entertainment for early risers.

For one family, the festival has become a treasured annual tradition, as they prepare to celebrate their tenth consecutive year at Gloworm in 2027.

Joe Salmon, from Mansfield, said:

“Gloworm has become a proper family tradition for us. Our extended family comes from far and wide and every year we all meet up for this one weekend in August. Over the years we’ve done Gloworm with babies, kids, teenagers, parents and even great-grandparents and every single year we’ve come away with brilliant memories.

“One of the things we love most about Gloworm is just how safe and relaxed it feels for the kids. There’s so much for them to see and do, and we love that once you’re through the gates, so much of it is included in the ticket price. They can just spend the weekend exploring, trying things, watching shows and having fun.

For our family, Gloworm isn’t really just a festival anymore. It’s our weekend. The weekend every August when everyone gets together, switches off from normal life and makes another load of memories.

“And honestly, there’s nowhere we’d rather spend an August weekend together.

So here’s to the next 10 years of Gloworm. We can’t wait to come back and celebrate our own 10th Gloworm in 2027.”

Gloworm 2026 saw a host of memorable moments, including Dene Michael leading what may have been the unofficial world’s largest Hokey Cokey!

A key part of Gloworm’s ethos is giving children the opportunity to try something new whether it’s wrestling, skateboarding, trampolining, parkour, laser tag, axe throwing, circus skills, there’s so much on offer.

Festival director Richard Walpole, said:

“A big part of Gloworm is giving kids the chance to discover new interests and passions. Whether it’s an activity such as wrestling, getting to meet their favourite characters and freeing their imaginations with creative play, the weekend is all about making special memories,  and families often tell us Gloworm is  life-changing for them.”

Popular changes for 2026 will roll over to 2027 including the later finish, with entertainment running until 10pm, early site access for campers and ramped up Friday night entertainment.

Organisers are now encouraging families who already know they want to attend Gloworm 2027 to book early to lock in the best value for money.

Family camping weekend includes three days of entertainment and three nights of camping along with plenty of other ticket options including Single Parent Glamping, Pitch and Power and VIP upgrades and Day Tickets all available.

Gloworm Festival 2027 tickets go on sale from 10am Monday 17 August.
