The Council has run the C-City stage since 2004, providing a platform to showcase the partnership Broxtowe has with the other 4 members of the C-City project – Chateauroux (France), Falun (Sweden), Grudziądz (Poland), and Gütersloh (Germany). C-City encourages the exchange of ideas and culture between these cities, and through it The Dizzy Dudes from Gutersloh and Dziewca Band from Grudziądz will be performing at Oxjam.

Portfolio Holder for Health and Leisure, Councillor Teresa Cullen, said: “We’re proud to be hosting the C-City stage at Oxjam once again. It is a wonderful celebration of international friendship, cultural exchange and local talent, bringing people together through a shared love of music. We look forward to welcoming performers from our partner towns and making this year’s event another great success.”
