Nottingham CAMRA have been fortunate to acquire the services of the Dementia Choir for Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival (7th to 10th October) at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground.
The Dementia Choir, founded by BBC star Vicky McClure, will perform at 4pm on Wednesday 7th October. This day is usually reserved for trade ticket holders and CAMRA members only, however, a limited number of tickets are to go on sale for those who wish to see the performance.
The tickets to attend the Wednesday session (1pm to 7pm) will cost just £10, with a donation of £2 going to the Dementia Choir. The ticket will also include tokens for a free pint of most of the beers and ciders.
Nottingham CAMRA Chairman Steve Westby said “We are very pleased to be able to support the Choir at the festival in helping them to raise funds. We look forward to their performance which will demonstrate the incredible power of music to bring happiness, connection, and comfort to those affected by dementia.”
