A shot of Eden Hall in the summer

Booking a spa day? One of Europe’s finest spa gardens launches just 2 hours from London

Eden Hall Day Spa, part of Barons Eden, has unveiled its blissful new Spa Garden, which includes all-year-round therapeutic facilities for guests to enjoy.

The Spa Garden is home to a new Outdoor Hydrotherapy Pool, spanning 20 metres. Being one of largest of its kind in the UK, it has been designed to boost overall wellness using the latest water therapy technologies.

With an average temperature of 39°C, and powerful built-in massage jets and water features, guests can enjoy a full body massage and swimming experience… even during cooler months.

From a new Reflect and Relax room to an Outdoor Sauna and fire pit surrounded by trees and plants, the new facility is the perfect place to relax and unwind with friends and loved ones.

What’s more, the new Spa Garden features four standing therapy stations and air loungers with headrests, as well as 16 benches that offer guests a variety of relaxation options to choose from, such as back and calf jets.

FIRE AND WATER

But relaxation isn’t the only benefit of Eden Hall’s new Spa Garden — it provides multiple physical and psychological benefits too, according to Dr Glenn Williams — Principal Lecturer in Psychology at Nottingham Trent University.

In addition to reducing blood pressure and stress levels, Dr Williams revealed that being around fire and water connects humans to the natural world — similar practices to what our ancestors followed — which is a wholly nourishing spiritual experience.

Listening to the sound of running water and being beside fire can also improve a person’s heart and breathing rate — essential for achieving ultimate tranquillity.

THE VINERY

The Garden has also introduced a beautiful new botanical Brasserie, The Vinery, situated at the heart of the Spa Garden. This bright space has been designed to bring the outdoors in, with incredible panoramic views.

New menus include breakfast, all-day and drinks menus, boasting a selection of popular dishes and drinks. During breakfast, guests can choose from a range of delicious and freshly cooked dishes including a matcha yoghurt bowl, full English breakfast, and American pancakes. On the all-day menu, guests can enjoy teriyaki vegetables and noodles, Eden Club sandwich, pizzas, and salads to name a few.

Complementing the food is an extensive drinks menu including an array of expertly mixed cocktails such as Garden of Eden, Summer Delight and Tropical Royale – Perfect for sipping your way into summer.

Commenting on the launch, Eden Hall’s Managing Director Nerys Chell said:

“We’re thrilled to unveil the new Spa Garden at Eden Hall. Helping our guests relax and unwind is core to Barons Eden, and we know the garden will be a haven for guests to help improve their overall health and well-being.

“We can’t wait to welcome guests to enjoy the new features and we hope the new tranquil environment will be the perfect outdoor sanctuary that can be appreciated for many years to come.”

The introduction of this new outdoor oasis completes the ultimate Spa experience at Eden Hall.

Nestled in 15 acres of manicured grounds, the Spa is already home to a Crystal-clear Swimming Pool, Outdoors Hot Tubs, Rose Infused Steam Room, Healing Saunas, Tropical Showers and 25 individual treatment rooms. Guests can choose from a wealth of experiences, from a blissful Spa Day to a Twilight Spa experience under the stars, as well as delicious dining options in the recently re-designed Taste of Eden.
