NOTTINGHAM canal-side restaurant and entertainment venue, Binks Yard, has revealed further details about its upcoming Pride Festival in partnership with Groovebox, taking place on Saturday 29 July 2023 on the venue’s outdoor terrace.
Kicking off at 2.00pm, Binks Yard and Groovebox have now revealed the full line-up of acts looking to wow guests. World-renowned DJ Todd Terry will be headlining the exciting all-day festival, with popular DJ collective Horse Meat Disco also set to bring their signature party vibes to proceedings.
Other acts performing on the day include Danny Beard from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, Essel, Sam Sax, El Johno, Cookii Shakes, and more. Charity Shop Sue will also take to the stage for an exclusive DJ set that is sure to bring guests a Pride party to remember.
With capacity for 1,000, Binks Yard’s outdoor space boasts the East Midlands’ largest outdoor screen which will be lit up in full colour for the duration of the festivities, with the event set to conclude at 10.00pm.

“We’re really excited to be hosting the Groovebox Pride Festival for what is set to be a fantastic day of music and great vibes in celebration of the city’s LGBTQ+ community. Each year, Pride marks an important date in the calendar of the many members of the LGBTQ+ community who live in and around the county, and we wanted to do our bit to celebrate and support them.
“The Groovebox Pride Festival marks just one of the many events taking place across the city on Pride day, including the city’s Nottinghamshire Pride event, with the Groovebox Festival offering another option for those looking to celebrate the special day.
“It’s set to be a fantastic day, with brilliant music and great festival vibes.”
The event will also be contributing a proportion of its profits to The Spencer Trust, a charitable organisation aimed at supporting the varied needs of the East Midlands’ LGBTQ+ community.
