THE best of beer, barbeque and live entertainment is coming to Nottingham this Father’s Day, for a day festival at canalside dining and leisure destination Binks Yard.
Taking place on Sunday 15 June, from 1.00pm to 5.00pm, ‘Dadfest’ is set to offer Nottingham families the perfect way to make long-lasting memories this Father’s Day, with activities for all ages.
Guests can expect to experience the buzzing atmosphere of a beer festival, with brands including Peroni, Round Corner and Freedom Beer to enjoy. Meanwhile, Binks Yard’s famous barbeque will be fired up all day serving up a selection of deliciously smokey treats including burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs and steak ciabattas. A range of food from the ‘Binks Bites’ menu will also be available from outdoor stalls, including the goat’s cheese arancini balls and the crispy chicken poke bowl. For something sweet, there’ll be ice cream and popcorn available too.
Known for its jam-packed line-up of events throughout the year, a live DJ will take over Binks Yard’s main stage, while dads can also belt out their favourite tune in a round of ‘Daddeoke’. Beyond the music, families can put themselves to the test at the speed kick challenge or see who lasts longest on the surf simulator.
Tickets are priced at £15 for adults or £7.50 for children, and include entry to the festival, along with free access to the full selection of activities throughout the day, as well as a refreshing pint of beer, glass of prosecco or a soft drink on arrival.
