Santa and Mrs Claus are arriving at the Tropical Butterfly House in North Anston, near Sheffield this December where families can enjoy a wonderful winter’s day out. Journey through the wildlife park to see Santa at his woodland cabin grotto every weekend and throughout the school holidays up to Christmas Eve.
Families can also enjoy a Woodland Festive Friends Trail to collect stamps and find which animals hold a magical Christmas star, in return for a sweet treat reward. Find one of many special ‘Christmas Puddings’ hidden around the park and win a merry prize and search for the ten cheeky elves and see who tells the funniest joke.
Enjoy the roaring fire at Lottie’s Coffee Lounge with a choice of specialty winter favourites from Gingerbread hot chocolate to freshly prepared pizza. A scrumptious Christmas Afternoon Tea for two for just £14.95 pp and themed children’s picnic boxes for £6.95 are also available (park admission not required, must be booked in advance).
Every child can see Santa as part of general admission to the park and receives a Christmas treat. An age-related wrapped gift can also be purchased in advance or on the day for £6.
Meet Santa at the woodland cabin grotto every weekend from 10.30 am – 3.30pm in December and daily from Monday 19th December until Saturday 24 December.
There will be lots of opportunities around the park to spread some Christmas cheer, write a letter to Santa and join in a carol with the singing reindeer or capture a festive moment in a flurry of snow at the giant Polar Bear #mybutterflymoment #tropicalbutterflyhouse so don’t forget your Christmas jumpers!
