Refurbishment works have now been successfully completed at Unit 8 Robin Hood Industrial Estate, marking the first phase of a wider regeneration initiative aimed at enhancing the estate’s overall quality and pushing rental levels. This extensive upgrade is designed to elevate the standard of the existing secondary units across the estate and attract a broader range of occupiers to achieve full occupancy for the site. The refurbishment included:
• Installation of new external cladding
• Replacement of windows and a level-loading access door
• Modernised two-storey office space featuring new suspended ceilings with integrated LED lighting
• New carpet tiles throughout the offices
• Upgraded WC facilities
• Additional enhancements to improve functionality and aesthetics
• New warehouse lighting
Unit 8 benefits from both front and rear service yards, offering generous loading and parking provisions. The estate is strategically located on the eastern fringe of central Nottingham, with direct access from Carlton Road, one of the city’s key arterial routes. Robin Hood Industrial Estate comprises 16 self-contained industrial and warehouse units within a secure, gated perimeter. Unit 8 offers 6,647 sq ft of clear-span warehouse space with excellent eaves height, making it suitable for a variety of industrial uses.
Amy Howard, Surveyor at FHP Property Consultant, commented: “It was great to visit Unit 8 and see the transformation first-hand. The scale and quality of the refurbishment have significantly enhanced the unit’s overall appeal and presence on the estate. This milestone sets a strong precedent for the phased regeneration planned across Robin Hood Industrial Estate in the coming years. We’re confident that these upgrades will help drive rental growth and establish new benchmarks for both the estate and out client. With its close proximity to Nottingham city centre, generous yard space and modernised facilities, Unit 8 is well-positioned to attract high levels of occupier interest. I’m looking forward to continuing working alongside our client and NG Chartered Surveyors to secure high-quality tenants, achieve full occupancy and breathe new life into the estate.”
