School’s Out Comedy Club

From laughing during Lockdown to funnies at the Fringe, this is the show where the kids are the real stars.

There’ll be giggles galore as children (and maybe even a few parents) take to the stage to share their favourite jokes. Expect
a healthy dose of silliness, plenty of cheeky laughs and almost certainly a few references to poo!

Following the success of his online lockdown show entertaining children being homeschooled, and the kids’ joke book that has so far raised over £1,500 for hunger charity FareShare, Hertfordshire based stand up comedian Philip Simon is delighted to bring his award-nominated show to the Nottingham Comedy Festival.

Unable to perform live comedy during Lockdown, School’s Out Comedy Club was created to keep children (and himself) entertained whilst schools and venues were closed. Each episode consisted of jokes sent in by the young viewers themselves, and delivered with aplomb by Philip, mixed in with some of his own child friendly material. All episodes are available to view on the School’s Out Comedy Club dedicated YouTube Channel, youtube.com/SchoolsOutComedyClub.
