Nottingham Comedy Festival is Back in One Week

In just 1 weeks’ time, the Nottingham Comedy Festival will be back in town, between Friday 12th to Sunday 21st November. This is the 13th annual Comedy Festival in the city. We are proud to bring together brand new, local, international and top established acts.

The festival prides itself on supporting local, national and international comedians through all stages of their careers and are pleased to welcome back many returning acts to the festival. Festival regulars such as Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre, Adele Cliff, Daniel Nicholas, Alfie Moore are all back with their brand new shows.

Nottingham truly is becoming a city full of comedy with many local performers taking to the stage. Not only do local Improv group, MissImp, have their own venue full of local improvised comedy. We are welcoming local acts: Edi Johnston, Katie Mitchell, Kitty Messalina, Jeanette Bird Bradley, Rhymes Against Humanity, Jay Sandhu, Tommy Tomski, John Morris. Nottingham’s very own Sarah Keyworth is also back in town for a special one hour show.

But that’s not all, top names such as Tim Minchin, Aaron Simmonds, Ignacio Lopez, Alfie Moore, Catherine Bohart are all taking to the stage this November. With over 100 shows, there is a lot taking place. Go and see your favourites and try something new, you never know what gems are out there but most importantly, come and have a laugh.

Once again the festival is supported by Castle Rock Brewery who have been supporting us since the beginning.

After a difficult 20 months we are all in need of a laugh so for 10 days across many venues around Nottingham over 100 comedians are bringing their shows to give us all some light hearted fun.
