Disney's Winnie the Pooh and friends Council House

Winnie the Pooh and friends embark on an expedition … to see the sights of Nottingham!

A.A. Milne’s beloved characters, Winnie the Pooh and best friends Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger, had an adventurous day out in Nottingham recently, getting to know a little more about the city before they head back later this summer in a beautifully-crafted musical stage adaptation of Disney’s Winnie the Pooh.

Awed by the Victorian splendour of the beautiful old Theatre Royal, the intrepid travelers then ventured out on Nottingham’s famous tram to explore the city centre. They visited Nottingham’s most popular meeting place, the Left Lion, and the iconic Robin Hood Statue – of course Tigger had to climb them! – and finished their special day with a VIP appearance on the Council House balcony. Well, they are celebrities after all!

Rockefeller Productions, in partnership with ROYO and in association with Disney Theatrical Productions, will be bringing the whole gang back to the Theatre Royal Nottingham from Wednesday 28 June to Saturday 1 July 2023 in Disney’s Winnie the Pooh.
