Dot To Dot have just released the local acts set to take to their Bristol and Nottingham stages for this year’s festival, with hundreds of new names joining the already stacked list of hot emerging talent.
Bristol’s additions include the likes of KNIVES, HAMBURGER, MAKE FRIENDS, MOULD, MY FIRST TIME and many more along with already announced touring artists taking to both cities; singer-songwriter MITCH SANDERS and dream-pop band NIGHT SWIMMING. Nottingham’s list hosts close to 100 names, featuring ALFIE SHARP, OTALA, TONIA, WIZARDS CAN’T BE LAWYERS and tonnes more, with touring acts released earlier in the year including up and coming singer-songwriter LYVIA and new noir infused five-piece VICTORY LAP.
The addition of these local acts from each city showcases their amazing local music scenes, all set to join the huge list of touring talent which includes headliners JOCKSTRAP and WUNDERHORSE, alongside the likes of THE MAGIC GANG, ANTONY SZMIEREK, THE BUG CLUB, HOVVDY, LEN, INFINITY SONG, JGRREY, PANIC SHACK, PICTURE PARLOUR, SAYA GREY and so many more all set to play the Nottingham and Bristol multi-city event on 25th and 26th May respectively.
The festival are looking forward to welcoming community art space THE CAROUSEL and bright and airy Sneinton market pub FOX & GRAPES as they join the festival for the first time for its Nottingham leg of the event. The full list of Nottingham venues taking part in the day features ROCK CITY, THE LEVEL, RESCUE ROOMS, STEALTH, METRONOME, ROUGH TRADE NOTTINGHAM, THE BODEGA, 31K, THE ANGEL, FOX & GRAPES, THE MALT CROSS, THE OLD BUS DEPOT, THE CAROUSEL and JAMCAFE all set to host lineups across the city. Bristol venues hosting the D2D party include THEKLA, O2 ACADEMY BRISTOL, SWX, THE FLEECE, THE LOUISIANA, ROUGH TRADE BRISTOL, STRANGE BREW, DARESHACK, THE LANES, MR WOLFS, EXCHANGE and THE CROWN.
These exciting new names added to the bill join the current list of diverse and talented names released. With first tier tickets for the festival sold out and 5th release tickets on sale now, this is set to be another fantastic year for the Bristol and Nottingham metropolitan event taking place later this month.
