NATIONAL ICE CENTRE AND MOTORPOINT ARENA NOTTINGHAM FUNDRAISE FOR CASH FOR KIDS

The National Ice Centre and Motorpoint Arena Nottingham are very proud to announce that they’ve been fundraising for Cash For Kids, a grant-giving charity that helps children who need it most around the UK.

At the last three Nottingham Panthers games of the season in March and April of this year, the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham raised £870 from selling a limited edition Cash For Kids eco cup on their concourse bars.

Kelly Gross-Bias, Charity Fundraising Executive (Midlands) for Cash For Kids, said,

“A big thanks to the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham and all of the Panthers fans who participated in the fundraising from cup sales towards Cash for Kids! The money you have raised will fund cost of living grants for local families in the Midlands with children who are really struggling. These will pay for essentials like food, fuel and energy bills.”

The National Ice Centre will also be hosting a Dress Like A Popstar Skating Party on Friday 28 April between 7 – 9pm in support of Cash For Kids Day 2023. It’s going to be a great event where customers are encouraged to dress as their favourite popstar and skate at the disco as a DJ plays all the latest hits.
50p from all ticket sales will go directly to Cash For Kids and it’s set to be fun for all.

Abi Dutton, Senior Marketing Executive for the National Ice Centre and Motorpoint Arena Nottingham said,

“We can’t wait to see the customers in their outfits for the skating party to help raise money for such an amazing cause! We’re very pleased to be able to facilitate the fundraising at the venue and look forward to working with Cash For Kids over the coming months.”
